Week 3 - Growing Hope Food Garden

Thank you to Kelsey Niehaus for sponsoring the 3rd garden and being an early supporter in joining the GROWING HOME MOVEMENT!!! We continue on our mission to plant in 52 food gardens in schools during 2022. Learn more about Mission 2022 here. 

We went out to Uminathi College (High School) to teach a hands-on permaculture class, and plant the Week 3 garden with the excited students.

We have 5 steps process:

1. Mulch & stomp
2. Water
3. Plant seedlings
4. Scatter specially selected seeds chosen for food harvesting and soil regeneration (water again)
5. Celebrate!!!
