Welcome to Mission 2023
This year we are focusing on 4 projects.
We are collaborating with local permaculture and organic gardening experts and NGOs.
You can sponsor any amount to any of these projects.
Orphan Care Center
Crestholme, KZN
We were approached at the beginning of 2023 to see if we could support a local orphan care center in Crestholme, KZN.
We visited them to assess the area and we found old tires, bricks, and items we could use to establish an area where they could grow. Together we initiated a space for gardening to be developed.
$900 per year would allow us to develop and support this project quarterly with seeds, seedlings, education and training for their seasonal planting. Please be in touch.
Rural Primary School
Hammersdale, KZN
We've been visiting the school you see in all the videos, since 2021.
We have a great relationship with the leadership and teachers and we continue to encourage and support the rebuilding of their soil and supporting their permaculture-inspired garden project development. We have partnered with local NGOs to support this work.
$1200 per year ($100/m) would allow us to develop an eco-club run by a local permaculture expert. You could sponsor one year or multiple. Please get in touch.
Creche Gardening Project
Tongaat, KZN
We are supporting, mentoring, and sponsoring a young organic Zulu farmer, who on her own started a Saturday Community Gardening Project for local children in the community to learn to grow at a creche in the Tongaat area. They are also encouraged to grow at home and get support and experience to do so. They harvest and share the food grown.
We are currently seeking $2400 per year ($200/m) to make and keep this project sustainable. You could sponsor 1 month or all of them. Please be in touch.
Fulton School of the Deaf
Gillits, KZN
We are seeking sponsorship to continue to support this school for children with hearing and some with severed learning challenges.
They have a dream to develop FULTON FARM. We are doing what we can to contribute to this vision. As part of this we aim to support the development of their kitchen garden so they can cook with more fresh and self-grown produce but also to give the students a larger harvest to work with for their entrepreneurial studies.
$3600 once-off would support this project being initiated.
